In the morning Susand And Jack rode bikes while Dave and I explored Carennac a bit. Met up for lunch and then I rode the second leg of the trip to our hotel, just west of Saint Céré.

Took the car 50 km to Figéac, where we spent the day. Champollion, who translated the Rosetta stone hieroglyphics was born there.
